Thanks! After sending an item I never keep the address so this really helps. She sort of screwed herself over as I put a DC number on there so she can’t deny not getting it.

I think it is considering she said she was moving about a month ago (it was her excuse for not sending another person’s stuff until about a month later). She also fed me bullshit about a bunch of relatives dying, school getting in the way, having to move to TWO different places. Really, it’s a whole load of rubbish.

hmm.. that sucks. I hate to see more swaplifters. I didn’t trade anything with this girl recently but she left me comment before she deleted her account. I wonder what she left. Did she comment on anyone elses page before she deleted her account?

You know, I almost got scammed by A. Elise, too. I traded her a shirt for a purse. I sent the purse, she got it, and then deleted our trade. I emailed her with a WTF and she said she re-read the description of the shirt and thought it might not fit her so well. I told her that I already sent it, she should have said something or asked about it BEFORE I sent.
I ended up getting my purse.

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe Sweet is Amber. I know Amber (in real life), though we haven’t spoken in awhile. She IS indeed moving, though I can not make excuses for her own behavior. I’m just trying to stop an innocent Rehasher for taking the blame for others mistakes.

Well it just seems like a whole lot of coincidences for it not to be. I of course wouldn’t know for sure becauseif it is her she isn’t going to come out and say “Yeah, I am totally the twit who scammed you all”.

I’m sorry you got scammed, but I’m not that girl you guys all seem to be talking about. I was just going to ask you guys what here account was so I don’t get scammed, till I saw that I was being accused for something I didn’t do. I didn’t know about this site till recently and I have lived in Miami my whole life. I’ve never moved outside Miami. And if you all do not believe me then there is nothing I can do.

As I said, you wouldn’t admit it if you were. I don’t mean to be rude. There are just so many similarities that I know I don’t want to take the chance. Sorry. :/

It’s ok I understand completely, I would probably do the same. But may I know what some of the similarities are. If it’s just because of where I live and my age. well you know how many people that day, the day I registered, were also my age and came from the same place? I mean you can’t just go pointing your finger at someone and accuse them for something they didn’t do, but again I understand and there is no hard feelings.

The looks, the location, the time you signed up, the age, the likes/dislikes, the way you word things, the things you have listed, the emails are very similar. There are tons of things that are the same.

And I see your point on the coincidences, but do you honestly believe that the girl would be dumb enough to list the stuff she had on again if she ripped people off? And sure you may say its the same, but who doesn’t have similar likes/dislikes, similar emails etc…. in this world a lot of people have similarities with others. And I don’t believe there is a tons of things that are the same… sure similarities, but not one person is ever the same with someone else.
I thank you for telling me the similarities, and again I am sorry you got ripped off and I’m also sorry that instead of getting to really know me, you had to go telling everyone something that simply was not. Again no hard feelings and thank you for your time.

Also, I haven’t said anything against you. In fact I’ve only ever said that I /think/ it is you. Yes, if you are indeed not her, it sucks that you have SO much in common (down to your attitude and the way adress people).
I’m going to continue to play it safe and avoid anyone I think may be her. It’s just not a risk I’m willing to take.

Not so easy solution. I did that. Doesn’t matter. I know the twit got the item, not only because of DC but because she admitted to having it. When I demanded to receive my item (after getting the run around for a few days straight) she deleted her account. DC does me no good.

There is no accusation throwing, only guesses.
And messaging people doesn’t seem to help much as I messaged someone back when this first happened and have yet to hear a peep.

I think the best solution is for H to send first like a normal swapper with no feedback would and gain our trust.

That’s what I meant – have suspected swaplifters send you theirs first with DC. Someone wanting to clear their name (or who truly isn’t a swaplifter) would be giving you the DC number.

I think it’s totally unfair to assume somebody is a swaplifter before they have even started swapping. H deserves a chance!

Okay, I was asked specific questions, I gave specific answers. People wanted to know who I thought might be the scammer and so I answered. I’ve left it open for people to decide for themselves. Again, I’m not saying it’s definitely them and avoid them like the plauge, it’s just very odd that there is SO much in common.

I do agree. The two have a LOT in common. It could just be a coincidence. Thanks for warning us though :)
