First Edition Hardcovers to add to my collection. I am fond of American and French authors. Also on the hunt for old Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mystery novels. Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

I have “Go Ask Alice”. It’s a diary style novella about a young girl spinning out of control in the drug world. It’s in Meh shape because Roxy chewed on it, but it’s readable. eMail me if you want it and I’ll just send it to you. :> Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

OMG… I just got a blank journal from 1910. It is a disguised book. The beautiful hardcover says it’s “A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens” but when you open it up past the front plate, there are nothing but hundreds of blank pages… at first I thought it might have been a misprint. But then I realized it was a journal. I am trying to muster up the courage to actually write on the antique paper. It’s incredible… my husband found it at the Heritage Book Shop on Melrose in LA (310-659-3674). I had to spread the word because rare book stores are closing their doors at an alarming number as people don’t seem to be buying and collecting as much anymore. Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |
