In january, just before Covid turned our world upside down, I embarked on a journey to get healthier. At the age of 55 I was tired of mourning the loss of my more slender youthful figure. And now that I have lost weight I am finding myself in need of a smaller wardrobe.

never in my wildest dreams what I have thought a day would come when I would not be able to just wander into a clothing store and try on endless styles and colors before making a final selection to purchase. And now that has happened. And so many of the stores won’t even take returns if you buy something that doesn’t fit.

So I had this idea of maybe hosting a local clothing swap. But I have never been one for hosting any kind of party, and the idea of going to all that effort just isn’t my cup of tea.

So I started googling virtual clothing swaps and I landed here. I can’t list everything I have, because even though most of my clothes are too big now, it is a better alternative than going around naked.

You will never find any crocodile shoes or leather jackets among my listings. You are more likely to find things from Cato and Dress Barn, and maybe even Walmart or Amazon. But I promise they will be clean and from a smoke-free home, and if they’re not in perfect condition I will describe any imperfections.
