The atmosphere of Rishikesh played a huge role in making my 200 hour yoga teacher training in rishikesh experience unforgettable. Surrounded by mountains, nature, and spiritual energy, the city creates a peaceful environment that helps students focus completely on yoga and self-growth. Unlike busy cities filled with distractions, Rishikesh feels calm and connected to traditional yogic living. Spending time near the river, attending meditation sessions, and practicing yoga in such a serene environment made the experience much more meaningful. Many students, including myself, felt mentally refreshed simply by being there. The peaceful surroundings helped us disconnect from stress and become more present during the training.
