Does anybody else find it extremely annoying when you take time to pm someone and they don’t respond after you can clearly see they’ve read it?? GAAHHH nothing irritates me more! >:( come on, you’re on the site, in your inbox, and have taken time to READ the message I’ve sent you, so obviously you have time to send a simple “sorry didn’t see anything”. It takes less than 2 seconds! I’ll admit that I’ve probably accidentally did this to someone, but 99.99% of the time I’ll pm back! It’s COMMON COURTESY. And I’ve made mental notes of people who’ve done this to me..

I ignore the PM if the person has ignored what written in my profile or swap ads. Like wishlist only or do not watch this item. That will make me ignore them.

I’m with Nona… if someone doesn’t take the time to read the description of the item to note that I’m only looking for certain things in trade, then I ignore them. Not to be rude, but it’s really irritating when I get a dozen messages regarding an item that I’ve very clearly only made available for swap for similar items or wish/want list. I’ve taken the time to spell it out clearly so I would hope that someone else would take the time to read it before sending a ridiculous offer.

I send every message with the thought that I may not get a reply. A lot of people on this site are very busy. I often read messages without time to reply. You can’t tell if someone is going to be asking you a simple yes or no question or asking you to look through their 200 rehashes half the time just by looking at the title.

It’s annoying when people repeatedly ask me to buy their stuff when it’s posted on my profile “Do not ask me to buy your stuff…”. I just stop watching those people’s items altogether.

I try to get back to everyone as soon as I can but I have alot on my plate and im pretty busy. Oh and it drives me nuts when people send me like 5 or more messages and hounding me for trades. I want to just say take a breath and relax! this is supposed to be fun.

a lot of times i am on at work or during a break between classes and i don’t have time to look through the rehashes a person has, etc. I always get back to people as soon as I can, but I wouldn’t take people not answering PMs RIGHT when you send them a message…

I can’t remember which rehasher wrote this, but I like it: “I will remember who doesn’t respond to my messages, and when I have something that you just have to have…... I will not respond to your messages.”
