I’m not sure if there is already a post for this, since I can’t search the forums. Sorry if this is redundant. I wonder if it would be helpful to have some general guidelines for the “condition” of clothing we are posting. For instance, these are my standards: “new”: never worn, brand new with tags only “excellent”: maybe worn once or twice, almost new “good”: some wear (i.e. pilling), but still wearable “meh”: minor defects (i.e. hole) that is not too noticeable or can be fixed I have gotten some things on here marked as excellent that were missing a belt, had holes, or were really pilly. I realize trading is always a gamble, but just throwing the idea out there. San Francisco, CA |

I think we all have i try to stick to lillians standards when i list and if there is something i notice then i mark it but sometimes u over look things but obviously they are barely noticeable….I agree i have received lots of items that i ended up donating so i really only stick to reputable traders anymore!!! I notice some rehashers also list their definition of those words on their page (I recall coming across a few a while back) ... I feel bad but after so many trades of letting it slide, I make sure to ask if there’s pilling or defects on larger, more expensive trades. :/ Stockton, CA |
