Sooo I did a swap a little over a month ago & the person I swapped with has yet to mail her end. I never mailed mine.. b/c she had/has less karma than myself. I get updates a couple times a week saying that she hasn’t had the $$ to ship, was looking for a box.. (yes, I am serious.. egh!), called the post office to come pick her end up.. waiting on a ride to the post office, etc. I swapped a TON of stuff for her end.. and she has yet to put it in the mail and honestly, I am not even sure that she will. I sent her a polite msg stating that I was growing more annoyed and if she didn’t have the $$ or time to ship, just tell me, and I would go ahead and re-list my items for swapping.. thoughts on this? Has this ever happened to you? Should I give her a few more days and just re-list my end? Clearly you shouldn’t be swapping or listing items if you cannot ship them.. ergh just not sure if I should give her the benefit of the doubt and wait it out.. but I feel like I have done enough waiting. BLAH!

I 100% agree with this. If you’re broke and you KNOW you can’t ship in a timely manner, then DON’T agree to a swap. If you have a certain date that you will be shipping because of schedules, money, etc., then you need to make the trader aware of that BEFORE you agree to a swap.

I agree.. I sent her another polite msg the other day saying that I was growing frustrated and that if she didn’t have her end out by the end of the week I would relist my items. It’s annoying, but at least I am not out anything on my end.. except nerves. hahah :-)

I agree with everyone else. Unless she said that she was going to be awhile to ship before the trade was made, cancel and relist the items.
