Orpheux Design does not condone signing up for snail mail spamvertising web sites such as this site or this site or even this site, of which there are literally hundreds of thousands of similar sites, using their home address so they receive pounds of junk mail on a daily basis. Miami, FL |

No, we would never do anything like that… OR do things like use their name and snail mail address to get free pharmaceutical samples for things like toe warts or other embarassing conditions that might make their parents, roommates or significants others look askance at them… Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

Aside from the mean/fun things you can do to Swaplifters, there are legitimate ways to proceed. Please see the other thread and upcoming ARTICLE on some tips and tricks for getting the stuff you’ve been promised. Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

Seriously, don’t waste your precious time on vengeful things. It could come back to haunt you. There are plenty of legal vengeful things to do. :) What swaplifters do is postal fraud/theft. Habitual swaplifters usually have had multiple accounts on tons of different sites. Try to find others who have been swaplifted by the same person & urge them to report them to their local police & to file a postal fraud charge against them with the post office. ALWAYS use delivery confirmation & require the same. It saves sooooo many headaches. How many times have people heard “I never received your package”? It’s been awhile & I am not up to date on all the procedures but I was swaplifted by a notorious swaplifter years ago. Because I reported her she trashed me all over the web then made the mistake of threatening me thru email. She is not allowed in the state I live in. (Not like I was worried but what a burn! Huh?) :) Her cousin also happened to have an account & somehow we started speaking & boy did I learn a lot about this girl! I did call her house & informed her mother of what she had done (not just to me but to many, many other people). I’m really not sure what happened in the end to her but due to raising people’s awareness & having people who didn’t want to bother since “it was just makeup” (plus they thought they were the only ones she stole from) most of these people in fact did report her. I am sure her name is on record with the postal service & police stations around the country. |
