Dear Rehashers, Firstly, many thanks to those who have already completed my survey! BUT, I still need more participants and as Rehash users are an excellent target group for my study about online swapping, I am posting here again. Briefly, what’s it all about? In my PhD research I am investigating the motivations and deterrents for getting involved with online swapping and what aspects could make it better. I am interested in why some users may have signed up and haven’t done any browsing/listing/swapping, while others are using it all the time. In general, anyone signed up for rehash is eligible for this research! The survey should take about 15-20 minutes and to thank you for your time, I am offering a chance to win one of five USD $100 valued (if you are from another country it will be converted to your currency) gift certificates by entering your email at the end of the survey. To start the survey, please click on the link below, or cut and paste the entire URL into your browser: http://canterbury.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_b1Qsop9phSbQQGp If you wish to confirm the authenticity of this survey and prize offer, please feel free to contact my supervisor, Associate Professor Paul Ballantine at [email protected] The validity of my survey depends on a high response rate, so your participation is crucial to its success! Thank you in advance for your help! For those who weren’t on when Heather first started asking for participants – it’s legit. I can also say that as a former PhD candidate, participation is a huge part of certain types of studies. The quiz take about 15 minutes and there is no identifying info kept with survey, excluding basic demographics that can chose to to answer. Please help her out! Jefferson, Georgia |
