oh trust me, you’re not alone! I grew up working in the stables of the rich kids I went to school with. But in the end; you’ll come out ahead simply by living your life well. A pair or two of replica Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses won’t hurt much, though :-) Germantown, MD |

Well, in high school I was in an advanced program that isolated us from the rest of the school population. And no matter our backgrounds we ended up getting pretty close. So, I can’t really speak to that. In college however, at least at the one I attend, stuff like that doesn’t really matter. The girls from rich families do their thing and I do mine. Their thing involves partying, mine involves studying. Or maybe that’s just me. Everyone and their mother parties more than me… Point is- pretty soon it won’t matter, be yourself. Irvine, Ca |

I don’t know if your in high school or college but don’t let those things bother you. Do what you do best and be yourself. I grew up living in an okay neighborhood and attended an alright high school. Okay it was actually one of the worst in my area. It never mattered if you were rich, average, or poor. We all did our own thing, or even better most seem to get along. No one cared or commented about eachothers background by the way. There was teasing and such but nothing regarding your background, what you wear etc. In the end, it’s not going to matter. You do what you do best and you’ll be alright. Bakersfield, CA |
