pleeease everyone take a little care when shipping jewelry and/or breakable items. I just saw Christina received a pair of squashed earrings, and it’s happened to me before with jewelry and breakables. throwing something in an envelope isn’t good enough—just take an extra minute with bubble wrap, plastic bags, or newspaper so our swaps get there safely:0)

And don’t just throw jewelry into a regular envelope. It will be broken by the time it gets to the other person.

when i first started to swap i didnt take much care in my packaging eg. i just shoved it into and envelope and sent it off. but i have found a very nice packing formula.

1. if any remove pet hairs with a roll of tape. 2. wrap it in tissue paper 3. close it in a sandwich bag 4. put in the right sized envelope (i have 3 sizes) or a box if needed 5. slap on a person note greeting card with thanks for the swap.

i think he reason people don’t package well is because they arent aware of it. i was a little clueless and it took a few swaps to figure it out. luckly i send out moslty clothing in over stuffed bags

OR at least package them in separate ziplocks please. I hate having makeup and nail polish ALL OVER the clothes. Bubble wrap at walmart is cheap.
