EMPTY PACKAGE I RECEIVED FROM Kiara

**My post man came to my pool to deliver it and tell me “we received it opened and empty at the post office” and “You should suggest they dont package a package with scotch tape”... Kiara is telling me its the post offices problem not hers…She shipped it parcel post for $4.90 when it would have cost the same for a Priority Flat rate Envelope which what it was shipped in but was cut open and flipped around!!! We did not swap I paid for this package. Any reccomendations??? I added it as a listing take a look and please give me recommendations!!

I dunno hun, but you gotta be really careful who you purchase from on here. If she sold something to you, and you’re not pleased with the outcome, the seller should always remedy the situation.

Yeah, you shouldn’t have to pay for something you didn’t receive. It’s like when I got items from a girl and sent her a money order…the money order ‘didn’t get to her’, so I had to resend another $50. Regardless, she needed to get her end, since I received my end, and I was out $50 on a money order that is floating around. It sucks, but tell her that since you didn’t get any items, if she doesn’t send replacements and use proper packaging, that you will void the check.

maybe if you buy something else from her she’ll give you money off and pack better, deff shouldnt have used scotch tape!. or maybe ask her to return all but the cost of shipping?—just some thoughts

If something happened in transit because of poor packaging (ie using scotch tape to seal a package or putting jewelry in a plain envelope), then I think it’s the seller’s fault.

If something happens in transit, then it’s definitely the seller’s fault. They make bubble wrap and secure mailing tape for this exact reason. If you buy something off ebay and the item arrives broken, you are expected to notify the seller and send the item back for a full refund or replacement.

If the items are packaged safely to begin with, there would be no issue. The post office is naturally rough with packages, but that should be common knowledge and require secure packaging.

Not to stir up more mess, but logically speaking, Kayla, how can you give feedback on this when you’ve sent me busted up makeup and a pair of jeans that were in ‘excellent’ condition but had rips all in them?

LOL No. As I’ve told you before, I do makeup for fun, and I have a whopping collection of it. I have a lot of duplicates of things, and I am also on MakeupAlley and I get lots of freebies on there. Whatever you think you’re seeing that you sent to me, you are sadly mistaken.

You deleted your old profile, so our trade is no longer active. Me being a nice person, though, will send your package whenever certain people get their items from you.

And how would you have any idea what I give people as freebies? That doesn’t make sense. FYI, I send tees as freebies.

Speaking of being owed a package… Kayla, you still owe me a make-up ring for our trade from February but I do not see you rushing to take care of this…
