I was at Target the other day and I saw that they now make Spanx for pregnant women. I’ve never been pregnant, but have any of you ever worn something like that while pregnant? Is it safe? I do realize that a baby is a bump you can’t hide :) Jefferson, Georgia |

That is odd. When youre pregnant, youre pregnant. You shouldnt try to “suck it in” or whatever. Blanco, TX |

It’s not about tucking it in. It’s about keeping the shape. I used them when I was pregnant because I had an odd shaped belly and I would use them when I wore dresses so I could have a nice round baby bump. It also helps to help hold up your belly to give your back a break. Plus if you gain weight around your inner thighs it helps with chafing. It doesn’t hurt the baby it’s just like wearing tights. |

at first when i was reading i was all like whaaaa? after having 2 babies and being very very big with my second i think it may have helped me be a bit more comfy. however, i think it is wierd to try to make yourself look less pregnant or whatever. where it is hot and cold in the same season!, |

Ohh..well, if it’s more for support and helps you be comfortable during your pregnancy, then thats great, I was thinking that they actually made spanx for pregnant women who didnt want to look pregnant! Blanco, TX |

I’m with Paris. I was really confused about shapewear for pregnant women, but if it makes pregnancy more comfortable, then that’s awesome. Jefferson, Georgia |
