So I’ve found that my local radio stations receive about 200 CDs a day in the mail. They open them fairly carefully (most are bubble envelopes with the little tear strip on the back). I go up there every so often and collect a BUTT load (and I have a HUGE butt!) So I no longer pay for envelopes to mail my rehashes. Which is good because they add up; it’s cheaper to send via envelope than small box; I’m helping the radio station recycle; and I love getting stuff for free! Give your local stations a call, chances are they will be willing to help! Land O Lakes, FL |

Wow that really is a good idea. I never even thought of that. Hmmm I will have to maybe hit up my radio station (Lets see if I have the nerve lol) I am so shy sometimes. Peoria, AZ |

Just give them a call and ask what they do with their old CD mailing envelopes. The best ones to contact, if you have any near you, are the ones that are volunteer stations or college stations. They seem to be a bit more eco-conscious. If a call is a bit much for you (I hate calling people I don’t know, personally), go to their website and look for an applicable email address… and email them! Worse they can say is HELL NO, QUIT EMAILING US! Land O Lakes, FL |
