Now I’m on the secon book of the Southern Vampire Mysteries (Living Dead in Dallas). I like them so far. Sookie is a much more fun heroine than Bella ever was. I also tried watching the show, TrueBlood, and I haveto admit that I’m not so much into the show… But Bill Compton’s yummy. I’m reading Charlaine Harris’s Dead Until Dark right now (the first book in the above series for those who don’t know). It’s pretty good, but not a real-page turner for me. Thanks to Jenny who sent it (and a couple others) to me in a swap! Since my last post I finished the His Dark Materials trilogy, Sphere by Michael Crichton (good) and The Thief of Always by Clive Barker (excellent). Pittsburgh, PA |

I’m rereading Death by Black Hole and Other Cosmic Quandaries by Neil DeGrass Tyson. It’s about space and formation of the planets, just to name a few. The big thing I like about it is that it’s written so that it’s easy for anyone to understand and it’s really funny. I still have to reread a paragraph every so often, but it’s a really fun read! I finished Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and started Through the Looking-Glass today. They’re alright; the thing I like most about them are the cool illustrations :p Probably going to continue with the Southern Vampire series (True Blood) after this… second book is Living Dead in Dallas.
