Have always had a passion for fashion! As a young girl, I learned how to sew, mix and match fabrics with my grandmothers and great-grandmother. My maternal grandmother was taught to weave blankets on a loom in Skyland Park of Old Rag, Mountain, Virginia. Having a mom who was blessed with beauty, poise with an eye for “Less is More” and “Simple is Sophisticated.” Allowed my mom to be a freelance hair, makeup and fashion model until I was born. Having all of these amazing women in my life introduced me to skills that opened up my creativity and artistic side was a blessing; which has been handed down to my sister In her business and to my son. Lastly, coming from a farm and immigrant background taught me to care for our resources and never to waste them. Recycling saves, helps our planet, and lessens refuse from piling up.
