I cannot believe that someone would ask to have their items back! If you are going to be picky, you need to ask all of your questions ahead of time to find out if the item meets your standards. I have traded with you a lot of times and have been happy with the quality of the items every time.

It is really disheartening to see so many long time traders here (many of which I - being rather new - have had the pleasure of trading with) having such poor experiences here. :heart:

I recently had a very similar situation… eventually the girl agreed to ship first, but then kept bringing up this and that, and basically just dragging her heels and slowly but surely she became extremely rude with me… I had to cancel the trade. She had the gall to say that everyone who she had traded with prior had agreed to ship at the same time (I really don’t think this is true, seeing her trading history) and I shouldn’t have a problem with it – I suppose that explains why she’s done so few trades then.

I’ve been seeing a lot of what you are talking about. There are some newer members with profile saying that will only ship at the same time or talk about shipping half of theirs, you ship yours and then they ship the other half, which to me sounds a tad ridiculous. Maybe I’m thinking too much in to it, but it could be that they are misunderstanding what is meant by “more karma”. I’ve always taken it to mean the number of positive swaps. There is a big difference in someone who has made 150 swaps versus 15 swaps, even if they both have 100% karma. Maybe one of the lovely admins could write a quick blurb on the main page or in the forums about what they feel “more karma” means so we can avoid a few future issues.

it was my own fault the person has been on here for sometime and there is a lot of good people who speak highly of her its that problem with people setting their standard TOOOOO high now grant u i send a BRAND NEW item but it did not meet her standards so she sent it back but she also sent her end already so now i have to ship that back when i receive it, I just think that people need to REALIZE where they are and what they are doing “TRADING” your not at the local mall buying something and if u decide u dont like it you return it…Not everyone standards are the same I set mine to a medioca level because that what i can afford!

I agree with you Christina – there’s a certain surprise element about all this trading stuff that (to me anyway) is half the fun! I can understand if not everyone feels that way, but it’s not like mainstream stores and ebay don’t exist anymore – they can go there if they really have their heart set on something. That’s what I do.

I’m for the first time going through this. Someone is claiming I sent them an item that did not meet their standard. BUT….I was good enough to take photos before I sent the item, so I know that what I sent was in the EXACT condition I listed it in. However, I will most likely get my very first negative for it, since I don’t do swap-backs and this particular trader is new, so I suppose it was going to happen eventually. You figure 5+ years of trading and no negatives, it was bound to happen :-(

Its totally is unfair. There were TONS of pics, emails and i stated the quality, anyhow my items has already been sent back apparently and i am still waiting for the items she sent me so i can send tehm back. I just think it is a RISK everyone takes on every trade and not for nothing if u think it may not meet YOUR STANDARDS then dont trade!!!!
