1. Trading decreases the need for sweatshops. 2. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than even Goodwill. 3. You wait less time (usually) compared to online shopping. 4. You can talk with the previous owner. 5. Sizes aren’t definite – rehashers write that it fits like a medium, even if the tag says small. 6. It isn’t wasteful – you’re saving clothes from an untimely trip to the dump. 7. You can build a new wardrobe of name brand things that might normally be out of reach. 8. Everything you purchase starts to become “worth it”. Like buying a new shirt – the shirt costs $13, and it’s about $2 shipping to get a new one when you get tired of it. 9. You aren’t limited to styles or brands available only in your area, which reduces the population of clones. Interlachen, Florida |

It’s only cheaper than goodwill if you do a multiple item trade, which I have found is really hard to come by. A shirt at goodwill roughly costs $3 plus a 10% student discount. Shipping with delivery confirmation costs about $5 and I’m not sure all the transportation to get the one item there is really very green at all. Oakland , CA |

Shipping won’t be green until we train awesome eagles to pick items up and drop them off. We’re working on this. BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

13: Post Office needs some stimulus too :-) They employee many people at good wages w/ planning for their future. But, yes, they need to be more energy efficient. Maybe deliver the mail in golf carts? Their trucks drive slow anyway. 14: It’s like Christmas when packages come in Germantown, MD |
