Hey—would anyone be interested in a group to list what other swapping sites we are on with profile names?
I have already met a few of you who I would love to trade with again, whether on here or in other contexts. This isn’t meant to be as competition for the happenin’ spot that is Rehash, but trying to make more connections between like-minded folks. For instance, I am also on Makeup Alley, and I think they are set up well for handling cosmetic trades. I would love to know if other Rehashers are also on Makeup Alley. I often check out other folk’s other sites when they put them in their profile, but I’m wondering if a dedicated group for posting would be interesting to others? Washington, DC |

Me! I love this username, so I have it on MUA and SS as well, but the SS’ers haven’t left me feedback! Grr! Interlachen, Florida |

SS? What’s “SS”?
By the way, does anyone know why our usernames are replaced by our actual names now? Or is it just me? For instance, to find out what your username is, Rebecca, I had to go over to your profile and, luckily, there it was in your profile. Didn’t our avatars used to have usernames with them? Can’t you hover over the avatar to see the name? Like here on the forums or whatnot. Land O Lakes, FL |

It has always shown first names. Screen names are shown on the person’s profile (on the title bar) and in the community section. You can always just do like Ambyr said and hover over any link to the person’s profile like their avatar or name link. On the status bar (bottom of your browser) it’ll show the link like http://rehashclothes.com/SCREEN_NAME_HERE BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

In the interest of research, I went and checked out SS. And you know what? It sucks. It’s just eBay for used clothes. I didn’t like the navigation or design. There was no personality whatsoever… Rehash is a social networking site with a great mission. You won’t find any of my stuff on that “other” website… Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

I have heard folks mention “Swapstyle” on their profiles, etc. now that you mention it. Haven’t checked it out, but I really like the community feel of Rehash—not that this is a competition. As to the avatar business, when I hover over the avatar, I get the same name (“Jenny”, “Rebecca”) as attached to the posts, plus a number of posts made. However, just like Orlando says (yeah, that’s a bona fide “You’re right”), up in the address bar, the user name is displayed. Good to know. Washington, DC |

What the heck. I’m going over there to start one. I’m at work; I’m not doing anything… ;-) Why not? Washington, DC |

Haha. I’m on SS as a feeble attempt to get rid of my things with some change in my pocket to help fund this dangerous addiction known as trading. Which reminds me, go buy my crap for super cheap. http://www2.laundromatic.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=6202586#6202586 Interlachen, Florida |
