Like the bulletin on the front page reads, we’re going to be changing servers again which means some downtime coming.

The last time we migrated about 3 months ago, while it eased the problems a bit, didn't completely fix them. That server simply wasn't powerful enough. It's not to say we underestimated the needs of the site, it's just that we were told the original server had some I/O complications and that the replacement would change that. That's not the case, so we'll be moving to a local server, so we can administer any problems from here, with 8 times the memory power.

Obviously this means Rehash will be down for about a day. With that in mind, I've compiled a list of things to do during the downtime:


1) Feed ducks some bread at the park.
2) Feed dogs some ducks at the park.
3) Feed yourself some popcorn and enjoy the dog versus ducks frenzy at the park.
4) Drink Crystal Pepsi, if you're lucky enough to find some.
