What’s the proper swap/trade etiquette in terms of when to ship something after an agreement is made? Almost a month ago when I first opened my account, a swap agreement was made. Given I am brand new with no karma, I shipped my item out on the next business day. She emailed me having received it days later. I’m still waiting for my package. Contact was made on her part a couple weeks later and I was told that it was being shipped out soon. It was 21 days ago. I emailed but haven’t heard back yet. This person has a good rep, 100% good karma, etc so I didnt have any reason to hesitate swapping. In general, what is a good rule of them when you’re swapping with someone? Berkeley, California |

Anything over a month already seems excessive. Not receiving a response for so long is a pretty good indication that they’ve probably either forgotten about it (some people have e-mail notifications turned off) or decided that being a douchebag is cooler than doing the right thing. For people with good Karma I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

Thanks Orlando. I will give this person the benefit of the doubt, maybe something happened, etc. It just makes me afraid to swap again! I used Makealley.com for years and never had a problem though. Berkeley, California |
