Did you send it to a new person with less karma? Do they have a good reputation on Rehash? If you have the reciept for it, that proves you sent your end, and have done nothing wrong. It’s not your fault the PO messed up, but their own. :)

If you kept the receipt OR had the numbers that were printed on the money order it would be able to get tracked by those numbers. You may be able to go back to the store and see if they can run a report for you. They may have the numbers in their system.

She DOESNT have the receipt – You should see if they can track it by name, phone, etc (google it?). I would call the place you got the order from and ask them if they can track it any other way. They can tell you if it’s been cashed or not.

I know she said she didn’t have the receipt, but the store she bought it from has to have a tracking system for money orders. Each money order has a specific number assigned to it. She should be able to call the store, ask them to find the exact transaction and find out what the number is. That’s probably the only way to track it.

I think so too, they can probably track it by name / phone number.

We’ve always discouraged monetary exchanges for this very reason. Scamming is a lot different when there’s a hard cash value involved.
