I’ve also been swaplifted by Buffy. We swapped for roughly $200 worth of items. Even after feeling a bit strange about her at the beginning, I swapped with her, only because of the glowing comments her last swap partners had about her.

Anyway, I’ve posted a thread on SwapTawk about her, and I’ve suggested her address be added to the Swaplifter’s page. If you also had problems with her, I encourage you to email her address to the Swaplifter’s page, as they’ll only list her name/addy if they get enough complaints.

I’ve also been swaplifted by Buffy!!! She seemed nice and all of her feedback was great so I trusted her. I was a little sucpicous when she offered to be very generous and give me basically everything of hers that I was watching, but I figured that it was because she was moving and was trying to sell them for $2 a piece anyway. She stole my brand new BCBG cardigan, an art history textbook AND a bottle of perfume :( So grand total…probably about $250 worth of stuff, maybe more :(

I’m still really surprised about all of this because she was always a great trader… Out of curiosity, did she hit the shipped button for any of your trades? Because suppose she never does and then she comes back a month later, she can delete all of your swaps like they never happened and delete her profile. The thing is, she can’t delete it while all the swaps are pending, but I suspect, since she’s deleted her entire friends list, the next thing will be her page, and she’s probably not coming back at all. It just seems a little odd to delete your friends list if you were really coming back. There are a ton of rehashers who go on swap breaks and they never delete their friendslist.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing because I tried to write on her profile and SURPRISE I was suddenly no longer her friend…so I checked and she deleted everyone (probably so that they couldn’t write on her wall). And no she never hit the ship button (for me, and I’m pretty sure she didn’t for anyone else) but that ALSO means that none of us can leave any karma. She sure planned this very well.

Ditto this. She never clicked the ship button on mine either, but I’ve saved a picture of the page. No word from her or anyone else. Ended up buying 2 of the 3 items we were swapping for. :(

i have been filing a mail fraud once a week!!! The more they receive the harder they investigate!!!!

I don’t think this is the first time she’s done this either.. Because I had asked her once why she never hit shipped but she always sent me a message letting me know that she had shipped. She told me it was so she could “work things out” if anything went wrong with a trade and the other person couldn’t leave negative karma. I thought that was a good answer because sometimes new rehashes and (old it seems) will leave bad karma straight off the fly because they don’t know the rules yet or are hesitant to state their concerns/issues.

So i received 1 of the items i sent to BUFFY…Ha funny thing is she used and abused it and sent it bag what a PIG. I have no respect for loser like her; she stole from me and others and then thats what she does well i am taking the envelope and bag to the police i hope this girl rots!!! :-3 >:-D

Still think she is a piece of crap there are at least 3 others i know swapped with her around the same time so we shall see what they receive, I honestly think the police contacted her and she got scared, I have left a message for the detective so i will hopefully know something soon!!! :-O

I got back some of what I sent her too. Problem is that most of the fragrances were broken & had leaked, and the lipstick melted all over the place. Ugh.

Maybe, but honestly, it’s not even close to the condition I sent it to her. One of the lipsticks is totally gone (broken, since she didn’t put a freaking cap on it), and it melted in the box. Going through the frags. now, but it looks like about half were broken or not capped properly, so they melted. Many of the items look more used than they were when I sent them. :( Most of this will just go in the garbage now.

Wow, she sounds shitty. I hope people get their stuff back from here. Swaplifters need to all go to a reform school and learn how to be human beings. Just my 2 cents :)
