I’ve accepted a few offers from the same people recently, and thought it was annoying that I keep getting messages with their address. An address book that it is automatically added to would be really great, instead of all of these messages.

I like that it does that, because it’s the only way to review what the offers were after you’ve dictated how the item is to ship. After you say you’re going to mail it, you can’t view the trade items anymore… except for the address email thing (In case you forgot here’s what you’re trading)

Maybe if it not only saved the address, but the rehashes you still have to ship to them as well, in one area. In other words, if I make an offer to person X, then see something else of theirs I like – I make another offer. So I have two X address letters in my inbox with the items I need to ship to them also in those two seperate letters. Insead, X could be added to my address book, and those two items show up next to X, as I haven’t shipped them yet.

We’re redoing how addresses/offers are viewed. Ideally we still want to keep some kind of notification about the user’s address so people will have no confusion as to where to ship. The main thing is, we want to make sure people don’t start sending out “what is your address?” messages. We’re also trying to see if we can tidy up what trades are going to who in a way that’s easier to keep track of.

Keep in mind not all traders are listed in the address book yet. There are a few little tweaks that need to be made to certain database columns to display them all, but right now most of the people you’ve traded with (in some cases all) should be showing up.

Having the details in the trades has taken care of this idea, although I’m sure the address book will still prove to be useful. Or are you planning to move the details (like things to send) in with the address book instead? That would be very cool. As so you could click on a single person in your address book, and see all trades you still have to send out to them in one place.
