Hi Carol! So good to "see" you! How are you? I'm sorry to be out of touch, I haven't been on here much as my Mom is in hospital. She has been fighting metastatic cancer as a warrior princess for 8 years. We women are strong and will one day rule the free world! ;-) Hey, I wanted to tell you I "adopted" a sweet feral cat in my building's back yard. I don't know it's gender yet, but I saw "her" pouncing on leaves one day after I heard a lot of meowing over last summer. So I went out and she let me almost-pet her, but gave a friendly warning bite and swipe, so I think she wasn't handled by humans and was maybe born in the yard. Anyway, I have been looking after "her" during our storms here, making sure she has cat food and water. I haven't seen her in a long time, but I do see kitty paw prints in the snow to the food and water bowls. ;-) I am thinking about adopting a foster kitty from the city, but waiting for the right time. How is your awesome ball of fluff? Any mischief lately? ;-)

Well hello my favorite UK rehasher! I hope you and mysmugcat are keeping each other warm. I'm considering getting a foster kitty because I can't think of anything more lovely than a warm purr machine and furry roommate. I love fluffy cats like yours, but I'll be happy with anyone who needs a home! It's gotten soooo chilly here in NYC, too ;-) You have great taste in music! Pink Floyd, I went through a vintage David Gilmour youtube marathon recently. Wow. Live in Pompeii. Ok, I'll stop nerding out on your wall now. (Please forgive, I think I have to watch it again...but thank you for your avatar, lady... ;-) )

I've wanted either a persian or a scottish fold for a long time---my fur baby is a ragdoll :) She's a little over 4 yrs old and I love her to death!

Awww, hahah, I appreciate picturing you opening a closet and flip flops tumbling out to greet you and smugcat. ;-) My friend who has a much larger place than mine says her clutter is "in churn", meaning, you find "new" places to put the old stuff but stuff mysteriously fills it without your permission. ^oo^
