Just moved to Brownwood not even two months ago, and I thought I would like the small town vibe, but obviously the crime rate is ridiculous, and my house got ransacked. Most of everything was stolen, minus a few clothing articles. I had most of my Rehash items in a plastic bag, which is missing, and probably made it easier for whoever jacked me to steal it.

I know this is going to upset a lot of people, and I completely understand that. I want my things back just as much as you do.

I have no idea what to do about this! I lost everything…they even stole my hair straightener?

If the members of Rehash deem it unfair that I remain Admin despite my lack of control of the situation at hand, I understand.

OMG, I’m so sorry to hear about your house! The nerve of some people, it’s just awful that they exist :( How are you holding up? Did you have insurance?

I totally understand the small town thing. My dad is from Kingston and my mom from the Bronx… neither one had experienced a robbery until they moved up to east bumfrig NH, where my dad’s stereo was stolen within a week. When I moved back from NYC, where I am used to leaving my car unlocked (since I would rather have them open the door and take what they want rather than break my windows) my car has been broken into 3 times. Hate to say it, but they target new people… less of a chance you’ll figure out who they are because you don’t know anyone yet :(

Im soo sorrry that happened :-( i completley undersatand…you didnt let ne one down because there is no way u left you front door wide oen with a big lite up sign saying “rob me”. i figured out how to read this! lol. my computer was having some problems. im so sorry to hear about that sandy. that really sucks. if there is a possibility that you still have what i wanted to trade you for then i hope we can talk about finishing out our trade.
