What would you think of this idea… borrowing an item on rehash. Like I send you a dress you like with both of us knowing that after 2 weeks you are going to send it back. That way you don’t have to buy a new dress for a wedding or a dance or something. I would list the dress, you would make a post for 2 weeks and we would arrange a swap. Whaddaya think? Good idea or no? Dacula, GA |

I like it =) of course there are very few people I trust enough to actually do this with. |

I’m with Gladiz. In theory it sounds awesome, but you’d have to trust the other person to send and not have it get “lost” in the mail. Jefferson, Georgia |

Thats why you would set up a swap, so that you could leave a negative if they didn’t return it! Dacula, GA |

trust is a big concern and also what if its sent back and you feel its not in the same condition how to you resolve that issue? Make them buy it? well defeats the whole BORROWING idea better to just buy your own have no worries if something happens. Brigantine, NJ |

i really like the idea. i am always doing photoshoots and need different outfits but it gets sooooo expensive when i am only going to be wearing the item once. so this is a wonderful idea!! Austin, TX |

I think it would be easier to just do a swap and then repost the item once it had served its purpose. That way the original user isn’t stuck back with a dress she was trying to get rid of in the first place. Also, if you decide you love the dress, you don’t have to feel guilty about wanting to keep it! :-) New York, New York |

I like it! Sometimes I need obscure stuff, and most times that I need obscure stuff I’m only going to need it for a few days anyway. I’d trade a lesser valued item for a loan of a more expensive item, or work out a double-borrow where we both get our stuff back at the end :) Manchester, New Hampshire |

Sounds like some may be open to it! If you want to borrow something of mine let me know. The only I don’t know how to work out is who pays for shipping… Dacula, GA |
