I’m seeing an awful lot of them on here. Are they “officially” on their way out, or is it just the taste of the individuals?

I’ve seen many worn here in Dallas recently. I’m guessing it’s due to personal taste. When you’re on the forefront of fashion (like us rehashers) then we maybe start looking for the next new thing earlier than everyone else. I’m just going to consider us ahead of the curve ;)

Idk, they disappeared in general for a while (excluding putnam, the fashion here doesn’t count) But a few people are starting to wear them again. I think it’s just one of those personal taste things.

i love my denim skirts!!! could care less about fashion so i don’t think this a new trend though.

I love the one denim skirt in the world that I’ve found fits me. :)

I think the fit and style is more specific with jean skirts, so maybe one ends up going through quite a few skirts to find the one that was “meant to be,” haha.

I needed a few for “jeans day” here at work and had a hard time finding them in the shops. Well, at least ones I was willing to wear. Maybe they are on their way out? I still see them paired with Ugg boots a lot.

Though they are out fashion, there are still some who like to wear the style. It totally a matter of personal choice.

i have a jean skirt up for swap, but also have one i am keeping in my closet for me! I am only swapping it cause its way to short on me. I cant believe I even wore a skirt that short to begin with once upon a time. I loveeee jean skirts. just not mini skirts anymore!

the jean skirt i have that im keeping is a bit below the knee. thats where i like them. lol

I just bought one from a resale shop a few days ago, it goes down to my knees, and I love it =] I do have a miniskirt from A&F I spent $80 on and have never even worn it..maybe someday. For now, it hangs in my closet =]

I still wear denim skirts, but not as much anymore. I don’t think it’s “on the way out”, I think it’ just me since my style is changing.

I have a denim miniskirt up for swaps to, haha. I have another denim skirt that I do wear…it hits a little above the knee. I think its more about the sytle of the skirt. No back pockets? Faded denim color? Those don’t seem to have staying power like a dark denim 5 pocket skirt does. :-D Dark denim skirts are classic!

They are totally in girl. I don’t wear anything but skirts. No pants,shorts or anything. Just skirts. I’m really into looking like a Lady so I can dig a skirt..I take it very seriously=]

I totally wear the heck out of my denim skirts! Although, I’ve been through quite a few trying to find my perfect ones (a mini, a just-above-the-knee, and a long skirt), so you’ll probably see a couple from me that were close to what I wanted, but obsolete in my closet once I found my true denim skirt loves :)

i wear my black denim skirt all the time too. it is hits about mid thigh, which could stand to be a bit longer. has a fraied bottom and pockets. i don’t see myself ever getting rid of it :-)

I think it depends on what the skirt looks like. I doubt denim will ever really go out of style. On a very non-related topic, I just had egg salad on italian bread and it was delicious!

i am swapping a distressed jean skirt that i guess was an impulse buy..i have a nice basic one with no holes that i consider a good basic piece.

I’ve seen them in some shops here in the UK but not in some of the usual one’s.Often I think they suit younger girls/women (no offence). I’m lucky I have nice legs and could get away with still wearing denim mini skirts but I only tend to away on holiday.Go with what suits you.
