Yeah I’m sorry ashleigh but that juicy belt looks fake and it looks like you took a picture from another ebay sale because I couldn’t find it anywhere elseI bought the belt from Ebay from a high rated seller who claimed authenticity, and I have that explained in the description of the item. I also said that since I didn’t buy it from the Juicy Couture store, I can’t say for sure that it’s real. The seller said it was authentic, so I marked it as authentic, but I changed it. And so what if I took the picture from Ebay? If I can find the picture online and the item is in new condition, I don’t take one of my own unless someone requests it. I used the exact same picture that the seller of the item used. And what about the belt looks fake? |

At the moment I hate them – messages are much more convenient, polite and they don’t tie up your perfectly good rehashes! |

Thanks, Paris. I didn’t think you were talking about me since we’ve been messaging back and forth today and yesterday about trading. :) My post was directed towards Michelle, because I didn’t like the way she called me out and assumed my items were fake when she could have messaged me about it. |

I like the “you pick” rehashes, it makes it so much easier to see what someone wants from me. If they send a message I have to try and figure out which items they’re describing, which takes forever. Also, I’ve noticed almost half the people I send a message to never get back to me…even if they’re the one who initiated our discussion. Most people respond to a “you pick” trade request, so I find it works better. I agree with this. I have gotten better responses with my “you pick” ads than with a pm. It attracts the persons attention I think. |

I agree with this. I have gotten better responses with my “you pick” ads than with a pm. It attracts the persons attention I think. It attracts the person’s attention because they’re forced to look at it in order to cancel it and get there stuff back available for trade, so that others that they’re negotiating with don’t assume it’s been swapped. That’s my problem with “you pick.” New York, New York |

I agree with this. I have gotten better responses with my “you pick” ads than with a pm. It attracts the persons attention I think. No one is forced to look at anything if they don’t want to. It’s a way to say, “hey, I’m interested”. Too many people ignore their PM’s or like me forget about someone entirely. A you pick is an easy way to negotiate and figure out what the other person is interested in or to strike up a trade. I would prefer a you pick vs a random trade with something that’s not even my size, wouldn’t you agree? People will send random offers regardless of whether or not a you pick option exists. That’s just the way it is since this is a trading site. |

I agree with this. I have gotten better responses with my “you pick” ads than with a pm. It attracts the persons attention I think. She means that it appears that your items have been swapped when someone does a “you pick” offer. Then the people watching your items, stop watching, because they think it’s been traded. I always respond to messages, but will usually just deny “you pick” requests. |

8 days ago… Alrighty then itâs decided, no more than two â??you pickâ? This issue was mainly about the ‘you pick’ clogging up the trading post. We are not removing this option in order to be fair to everyone but we are limiting the amount of ‘you pick’ to only two. |

I, like others, don’t like to get the “you pick” options, but I now know that a lot of ladies do. Would another good suggestion be to read the person’s profile and see if they mention it? I know of several ladies, including myself, actually say not to send “you pick” trades. If they explicitly say it, send a pm and send the link of item or items you’re interested in. that can save time for the person receiving the offer (I don’t have to go hunting for the item) and you can tell me exactly what you would like.
